Evolutions in Information System (IS):

over the time. Previously the Information Systems (IS) were performed manual systems

to take decision which they needed. DSS uses internal and external data from
organization Database Examples like risk analyzing, product sales, price and profitability.

Then later in 1980’s Microcomputers
came into existence microcomputer processors developed by Intel’s Pentium microprocessor. Employees and end users can use
their own resources to support job requirements. This saves their time Rather
than sitting tight for backhanded help. Executive
Information System (EIS) has
made easy access and information needed for the top executives provided from
DSS and MIS.

ERP systems were revolutionized Enterprise resource planning which is integration of many systems
into one single large system. As organizations introduce complex data and
correspondence innovations with the possibility to connect everyone inside the
firm to a normal wellspring of authoritative information and a completely circulated
system of connections, the unbending dividers around authoritative layers also,
capacities start to vanish. Many organizations have received Information System (IS) to help in running steady business activities.

Form MIS to E-Business
there is major change in the internet and the applications developed using the technologies.

becoming commonplace in today’s operations in business sectors. Apparently today’s
business transactions are doing better than faster than doing before years. The

Chain Management (SCM), Customer
Relationship Management (CRM) etc. data warehousing and Product Life Cycle Management may include in future. All these
systems integrated to explode maximum growth.

Conclusion:  constant evolution of Information Systems and
company management has been observed from 1960’s
