1.      AGRICULTURAL ROBOTS:

 

Recently companies are evolving and programming autonomous robots to handle essential agricultural tasks such as harvesting crops at a higher volume and faster pace than human labourers. 

 

HOW IT WORKS: For example in crop farming, the robots will autonomously research their environment and will perform tasks at the particular locations like, picking up fruit, spraying pesticides on crops, planting seeds in the soil, irrigation etc. The robots works when they receive a plan with a set of locations to visit on the field. When the robots received the commands, they knew the trajectories and uses the GPS for reaching the particular spot and also to thoroughly check their track.

New computer vision and deep-learning algorithms are emerging to process data captured by drones and/or software- based technology to monitor the health of the crops and soil health.

2.      Cannot replicate humans: Machines do not have ethics, moral values and emotions.
